Riga
Shooting Range
Always popular
and never fails to create such a huge buzz and mass excitement -
these are serious guns. We've even had guys from the British army
come here and they were in raptures! There sure is something mysteriously
satisfying about letting loose with real shooters and live ammunition!
It takes place in a former KGB bunker constructed for communist
party chiefs to hide in case of a nuclear attack!
There's a whole variety of guns to choose from such as pistols,
pump-action shotguns, assorted semi-automatic and automatic rifles
and the Soviet beast itself - the deadly accurate Kalashnikov assault
rifle.

Olympic
Bobsleigh (Winter Only)
Now where else
can you do this?!!! This is a real Olympic standard bobsleigh run
and used on the international bobsleigh tour. Yes it's scary but
amazing fun - 45 seconds of pure adrenaline rush! Along the 1420
metres you will reach speeds of up to 120km/h. For your safety and
reassurance a member of the Latvian Olympic bobsled team will be
driving!!

Training
Bobsleigh (Winter Only)
For those who
still want the experience but at a more leisurely 80km/h there is
a modified bobsled which you and up to 4 of your mates can experience
together. Don't be fooled by it's appearance because this thing
is still fast and considering there's just a few inches between
your head and a concrete wall covered in ice - you still won't have
chance to dream about the girls you saw in the club the night before.

Bobsleigh
on Wheels (Summer)
The fun is not
restricted to winter as in summer there is a specially adapted bobsled
with wheels (and brakes!).
It's goes down the same Olympic course as the winter version and
you'll cruise down at speeds of up to 80km/h in the safe hands of
a professional driver. Up to 3 passengers can experience this at
a time.

Indoor Go Karting
The Riga Karting
track is 310 Metres long and an excellent indoor facility. All drivers'
karts are logged electronically and lap times and race performances
are printed for your amusement at the end of each race. Tournaments
are organised so that everyone participates in a qualifying session
and a final.

Mans Outdoor Go Karting
This massive professional
racing circuit is 1200 Metres long and absolutely ideal for high
speed endurance GoKart racing. You will be split into teams of 2
or 3 drivers and whichever completes the most laps after 1 hour
are proclaimed Gods and will be soaked in the finest Latvian champagne
by the other competitors! Choosing when to pit and change drivers
will be an independent team decision.

Freefall
Simulator
The first vertical
wind tunnel in Eastern Europe means skydiving without the need for
a parachute or a plane!! After a short training briefing you will
experience the sensation of freefall. It's possible to fly up to
20 metres above the top of the tunnel with a generated wind of 200km/h!!
Don't worry it's totally safe and you won't fly away from the safety
of the tunnel! As a bonus the activity takes place in the beautiful
surroundings of the Gauja National park.
 
Note: You have
to weigh heavier than 30 Kg and no more than 100 Kg.
Price includes training and practice so that you are able to stay
on the airstream during the 4 minutes of solo freefall. (4 minutes
is a long time to be free-falling but those who become addicted
can buy extra minutes at the rate of 10LVL per minute.)

Paintball
Riga has an excellent
purpose built paintballing facility located in a forest on a natural
peninsula surrounded by the River Maza Ugla. The park has a total
area of 10 Hectares with diverse terrain and vegetation. There are
areas of seemingly impassable nut-grove, areas of pine and oak forest
- parts of which are steeply banked. The river bank bordering the
park is 700 metres long which is part steeply banked and part sandy
shore. Strategic features of the park include two impregnable timbered
fortresses situated on top of hills, a mock wooden town with streets,
sandbags, blockposts and cars.
There's also a
Vietnamese style village surrounded by jungle and a forest bastion
that imitates a section of front-line action with trenches and dug-outs
and also a beach imitating a section of a foreland where allied
forces landed during WW2. New
this year is a full mock 'spaghetti western' town!
As the park is so big it's possible for your whole group to fight
together against one or more other teams.

River
Kayaking
Spend the afternoon
on the river in the Gauja Valley national park - nice. There's plenty
to see and do along the way as you'll start in the forest and pass
by waterfalls and rapids. Also lots of wildlife to see like stags
for instance!
Time on the river is between 1 and 2 hours.

Zorbing
Is it a ball?
Is it a balloon? Is it a giant plastic egg with a human inside?
Well, a bit of all three actually, and it's certain to make your
head spin! Zorbing
involves strapping yourself inside a huge transparent sphere and
getting rolled down a hill. You are protected by a 2ft vacuum of
air within the sphere, so while you reach speeds of up to 30mph,
you don't feel the bumps.

Riga
Quadbikes
Quad bikes are
available in the forests just outside Riga. You can get quite a
bit of speed up around this track and there are plenty of jumps
and bumps to negotiate. The event entails time trials around the
track as well as a 20 minute safari around the forest. Also included

Pigeon Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting is a thrilling experience, demanding calm concentration,

not real birds and no one gets hurt - but it's still brilliant fun!

Dirt Buggy Racing
The crazy dirt
buggies can only be described as a complete riot!! Up to 4 buggies

4x4
Off Road Driving
Latvia's forests
provide an abundance of terrain suitable for offroading. You'll
be given a short driving lesson before being let loose in a 4x4
vehicle. Are you as skilful as you think? If you think it's all
a bit sombre just wait until your instructors invite you to be passengers
in their own rally race. Let's offroad!!

Round
of Golf (9 or 18 Holes)
The most prestigious albeit the only golf course in the Baltics!
Situated on the shores of Lake Chishezer on the outskirts of Riga,
it's an 18 hole 6400 metre par 72 course. There's a dress code so
you'll need to bring your own trousers, shirts, gloves and soft-spiked
shoes.

Tandom
Skydive Freefall
- Join the 2 mile high club!!
Jump from a plane
at a height of 2 miles!! Training for this only takes between 20
and 30 minutes. Don't worry though because you will be strapped
to a skydiving expert who'll ensure you have the maximum adrenaline
rush as well as living to tell the tale! The freefall is for 40
seconds mostly travelling at terminal velocity until reaching an
altitude of 1200 Metres at which point the jumpmaster will pull
open the canopy giving you another 6 minutes to enjoy the view at
a more leisurely pace!

Solo
Parachute Jump
This is a solo
jump but a group exercise! You will all go up in the same plane
and jump out one after another. You'll each have your own parachute
and will be falling gently for about two and a half minutes. As
this will be most participants first jump everyone will be required
to do a two hour combined training and safety course. The jump is
from an altitude of about 1 km and in case you can't remember how
to deploy your canopy it will automatically open after 3 seconds
of leaving the plane!

Cable
Car Bungee Jump
In the beautiful
Gauja national park not far from Riga you can jump from the cable-car
which connects the two sides of a gorge created by the river Gauja.
The height of the jump is 50 metres above the River and takes place
in the evening.

Hot
Air Balloon Flight
Get a birds eye
view of the Gauja Valley just outside Riga. The Valley is also known
as 'the Switzerland of Latvia' and as well as the scenery the balloon
will also fly over the town of Sigulda where you can see the many
castles and historic buildings as well as the bobsleigh run and
cable-car which links the two sides of the Gauja Valley gorge. Flights
are either in the morning or evening and launch site is decided
with regards to weather conditions to ensure the optimum scenic
route is taken.
